about the creator
The creator of this project, Haley Gerber, is a senior studying sustainability and environmental education through Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University.
​
Growing up abroad, Haley learned to use imagery to connect and communicate ideas with her peers. This inspired her to use photography as a tool to educate and spark conversations about conservation and environmental stewardship.
​
Following graduation, Haley will serve as a Fulbright Scholar, teaching English and environmental responsibility in ecotourism in rural Thailand. She plans to then work internationally as an environmental educator before gaining her PhD and teaching in higher education.
